Learn to Etch-Bracelet or Pendant & Earrings

 Complete an etched bracelet or pendant with matching earrings.   Learn to etch using your own artful designs or materials provided by your instructor Pat Kuehn.  Students will discuss various resists used in etching as well as several types of patinas.  This class will be lots of fun and students will have an opportunity to experiment with patinas.  Students will use ferrice chloride ( a salt not an acid) to etch their metal. Your finished work can be as Bohemian or elegant as desired. 
Instructor Bio:  Pat Kuehn
Pat is an avid beader and enjoys working in mixed media. She is an active member of the Kansas City Bead Society where she is a particpant in the Programs committee. Pat ocassionally teaches at the Bead Boutique north of the River and for the Bead Society.  Pat has recently been a contributor to Beadwork Magazine.
Class Fee: $26   Kit Fee: $25-$30
Kit Includes: 
        Metal for etching
        Ear wires
        Beads, leather cord and other materials to complete projects
Additional Supplies needed: Chain nose, flat nose and and round nose pliers if students have them.  Instructor will have some available for students to share.
