Make this sleek chain mail bracelet for yourself or someone special. The chain mail star is a lovely addition. This bracelet can be worn by a man or woman. Dee and Pat will show some special tricks that will make this pattern a snap. Students will also learn to make their own closure. You will receive enough materials to make this bracelet along with the star dangle and closure. The star can also be used as a small pendant. Have fun with this pattern. Instructor Bio: Dee Edwards
Dee is the 2012 winner of the Kansas City Bead Society annual Bead Contest. She is an avid beader and chainmaille enthusiast. Since Dee retired from her position as a Human Resource Manager she has been able to devote more time to her chainmaille and beading passions.
Instructor Bio: Pat Kuehn
Pat has been making chainmaille for several years. She studied her craft under Bob Kennedy, our local chainmaille guru. Pat is an avid beader and also enjoys working in mixed media and polymer clay. She is an active member of the Kansas City Bead Society where she is a particpant in the Programs committee. Pat has taught at the Bead Boutique north of the River and for the Bead Society as will as previous Bead Blasts. Pat has recently been a contributor to Beadwork Magazine.
