Give your jewelry designs a new twist using bead crochet. Students will use this vintage technique to create a crocheted rope which can be used to make a necklace or bracelet. Finishing ideas will be discussed in class. This is a process oriented class. Students will finish their project at home.
Instructor: Carol Mundy and Susie White are experienced bead crocheters and have taught this in the area. You are sure to learn this fun technique through their skilled hands on teaching.

Medium: Seed Beads size 6 Kit Fee: No kits are available. Students must bring their own supplies (see below).
Students must bring their own supplies. Students will need to bring:
1. At least one yard of regular size C-lon strung with size 6 seed beads in
a pattern of 2 color A and 2 color B (Will make about a 7 inch rope)
2. DO NOT CUT THE C-LON FROM THE SPOOL---
(It is best to use 86 yard spool of heavy C-Lon beading thread)
. 3. Use any color of beads but there must be some contrast with the
the C-Lon. A light color is recommended. NO BLACK.
Additional supplies needed: Magnifiers if needed, patience, extra light & extention cord, scissors, metal crochet hook
size 1.5mm or 1.6mm---Bates or Boye are ok. Class Minimum: 4 Class Maximum: 8
Registration Closes: April 20, 2010 Students may sign up day of class if seats are still available.
