        Saturday February 17th and/or Sunday February  18th       

                         1pm to 5pm Both days

Learn techniques and tricks from three – yes! three! – talented masters of bead embroidery.

 Liz Harrison, Linda Latimer, and Mary Lynne Westervelt will share their expertise .   They will teach you basic stitching, gluing, bezelling, edging, and other techniques. You may attend one or both sessions. The class price for one session is $25.00 and for both sessions is $40.00. You will receive full color handouts and one 8½” X 11” piece of undyed Lacy’s Stiff Stuff™. In order to match your cabochon for a one-of-a-kind creation, you will need to bring your own materials.  See supply list below.

Supply List:

Round or Oval Cabochon

Thread of your choice: Nymo, One G, or Fireline

Size 11 and 12 beading needles

Beads to match and/or compliment your Cabochon

Size 11 cylinder beads for main bezel

Size 15 seed beads to close bezel

Size 15 Czech charlottes (optional)

Size 11 seed beads – bead embroidery does not work well with cylinder beads!​

Other useful beads:

Shaped beads such as triangles, crescents, discs, etc.

Small crystals – 2mm, 3mm, or 4mm 

Lochrosen 

Daggers

Pearls

Small round beads

UltraSuede™ or other non-woven backing material

Beading surface

Small sharp scissors

Magnification, if needed

Task light, if needed
