Of Corset Laces

Participants will use RAW, Herringbone, and peyote stitches to make a reversible Victorian inspired bracelet. Each side has a different look.

Lisa Knappenberger

Instructor: Ms. Knappenberger started beading in 2004 while serving as a Boy Scout Leader. She began by learning to bead tribal pieces on a loom. But it was love at first sight when Lisa opened her first bead magazine filled with beautiful crystals and seed beads. She soon found The Bead Browsery, a bead store in Liberty MO, where she learned many different stitches. She was soon ‘addicted’ to playing with beads. Lisa is also a quilter, seamstress, knitter and anything else that allows her to be creative. When Lisa is not beading she can be found riding her motorcycle and in the cast of productions by the Excelsior Springs Community Theatre.
