Using your own beads and materials or one-of-a-kind lit learn to design, bead, and assemble an unique bead-embroidered bracelet custom-fitted to your wrist. This workshop covers all aspects of creating a bracelet including making templates, sizing, selecting foundation material, gluing, stitching a beaded bezel, embellishment, final assembly and closures.

Instructor: Mary Lynne Westervelt

Instructor Bio: Mary Lynne Westervelt has been an artist since childhood and has been beading for most of her life. She has been fortunate enough to study with many of the top beading teachers in the country, including NanC Meinhart, Diane Fitzgerald, Jeanette Cook, Carol Cypher, Laura McCabe, Adrienne Gaskell and Sherry Serafini, just to name a few. She was fortunate to participate Sherry Serafini's Master Class at the 2012 Bead & Button Show and her finished collar was among the few from the Master Class published in the February 2013 issue of Bead & Button magazine. Mary Lynne is 1st Vice President of Programs for the Greater Kansas City Bead Society, and this will be Mary Lynne's fifth year teaching at Bead Blast.
