We will complete the project we began at the January Meeting: The Boot Camp Sampler Bracelet

The Programs Committee Is Dusting Off A Past Program

We thought this would be a fun refresher for our more experienced beaders and an easy learning experience for our newer members.  Members can do eight different stitches using this quick easy idea and walk away with a finished bracelet or necklace.

Members will work on five stands of a sampler bracelet/necklace at the January meeting and 3 stands at the February meeting. The finishing techniques will also be discussed at the February meeting.

This bracelet can be completed in size 11/o or 8/o seed beads.  Size 8's

make up very quickly and really show off the various stitches.  This is a great way to use up those left over's from other projects.  Members can use a mix of 11's and 8's. Use complementary colors or work in a single color.  The choice is up to you the designer.  Bring your Boot Camp manual to use as a reference for the various stitches.  The pros will be there to assist you.

The Bracelet pictured above was completed by Pat Kuehn.

The idea for this Bracelet was inspired by Carole Rodgers’ book, The Beaded Bracelet: Beadweaving Techniques & Patterns for 20 Eye-Catching Projects.  Various stitch patterns are shown in this delightful book.

This book would be a wonderful resource to add to your Beading Bookshelf.
