June 12th’s meeting
The June meeting will celebrate "Old Glory"
We will feature beadaholique’s flag pattern
Celebrating our beautiful country in time for 4th of July.
Supplies
seed beads size 10 or 11 in RED, WHITE & BLUE.
Usual Supplies
matt, needle, thread cutters, ect.
Pattern calls for 4lb fireline. Leann used 6lb. Any thread will work.
If your flag isn’t as stiff as you like, you can run your thread back through the rows.
This project uses Square Stitch. It is a basic easy stitch to have in your skills. Leann will provide some square stitch instructions, but you can look it up on YouTube to see it clearly.
You can finish your flag in multiple ways.
Use a small delicate chain attached to each side with jump rings for a necklace.
Make 2 flags and attach to earring wires.
Glue a magnet on the back and attach to your refrigerator.
Glue a pin back to attach to your lapel.
