DAISY CHAIN PATTERN
Join us Friday, April 11, for the Bead Society meeting featuring the Daisy Chain pattern.
The examples in the photo show the stitch using (from top to bottom) size 11, 8 and 6 seed beads.
You will want at least 2 colors, and all beads should be the same size. Attendees can join the ends for a slip-on bracelet or attach a clasp. The versatile pattern can be made into a bracelet or necklace and is quick and fun. You can use delicate colors or go bold with color and size.
Members will supply their own beads and other supplies:
• Beads—at least 2 colors, all same size
• Thread—larger beads work best with heavier Fireline thread
• Clasp (if not making a slip-on bracelet or necklace)
• Needle
• Beading mat
• Thread cutter or scissors
The meeting is at the Old Mission United Methodist Church, 5519 State Park Road, Fairway, KS 66205 (Shawnee Mission Parkway, east of Mission Road). Enter through the north door where handicap parking is available. The meeting room is the Fellowship Hall downstairs.
IMPORTANT: Occasionally, plans change for a variety of reasons. Should a cancellation occur, members will be notified via email and the Bead Society of Greater Kansas City’s Facebook page.
